Dr Riana Rabe (BChD, BSc(Hons), MSc) graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1995. Although not working in botany, she also has a master’s degree in plant taxonomy. Besides hiking, tennis, canoeing and gardening, she also tries her hand at golf.

Dr Geyser graduated from the Stellenbosch Dental School in 2003 after completing his dental technology studies at the Peninsula University of Technology. He is passionate about general dentistry. Dr Geyser has two sons and enjoys outdoor activities.

Dr Hugo De Vries

Dr Hugo de Vries qualified as a dentist from the University of Stellenbosch and subsequently worked in the Dales area of North Yorkshire, England. On his return to South Africa in 2005, he joined the Intercare Blaauwberg dental team. Dr De Vries sang all over Europe with the Libertas Choir and had the privilege to meet President Nelson Mandela and Prince Philip. In his free time, he and his family enjoy exercise and spending time outdoors.

Dr Marissa Botes

Dentist

Dr Marissa Botes obtained a BSc in Human Physiology from the University of Pretoria and a Medical Cell Biology degree from the University of the Witwatersrand. After that, she moved to Cape Town to obtain a BcHD from the University of the Western Cape. Dr Botes has a holistic approach and is particularly interested in aesthetic treatments (Botox), sedation, and laser treatments. She spends time outdoors with her husband and twin boys in her spare time.

Dr Hannes Cornelius graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1981.  He has a special interest in root canal therapy, crown and bridge work and clear aligners for minor orthodontic corrections. He enjoys fishing and teaching his eight grandchildren how to fish in his free time.

Dr Andrew Prince graduated from the University of the Western Cape in 2006.  He was awarded a certificate of recognition by the Eastern Cape Department of Health for his contribution towards service delivery in the province.  He has a special interest in orthodontics.  Dr Prince enjoys playing hockey in his free time.

Dr Linton Brown (BchD) graduated from the University of the Western Cape and completed his community service in Bethlehem in the Free State. He gained an interest in aesthetics and paediatrics there, and to this day, continues to enjoy working with children and bringing joy to others. His areas of expertise include general dentistry, veneers, crowns, clear aligners, and aesthetic dentistry. In addition to the value of organisation and policy in the dental field, Dr Brown believes in lifelong learning. In his free time, he likes to spend time with his loved ones, watch sports, and get stressed out over fantasy football.

Dr Stephen Horwitz graduated as a dentist from the University of Witwatersrand in 1989. He has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, paediatric dentistry, composite resin restorations, implant restorations and endodontics. He likes to practice preventive and minimally invasive dentistry. Dr Horwitz is a keen cyclist (having already completed nineteen 94.7 cycle challenges) and runner.
