Dr Caryn Sahd qualified from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2016. In addition, she has a diploma in primary emergency care (DipPEC). Dr Sahd is particularly interested in paediatrics, women’s health, acute and chronic illness, orthopaedics, and trauma.

Dr Leané Potgieter qualified from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2018, whereafter she worked in emergency care and surgical wards. She is dedicated to patients’ health and is particularly interested in acute care, surgery, and the holistic treatment of general medical conditions. Dr Potgieter loves reading, drawing, painting, and spending time outdoors in her free time.

Dr Martin Freese

Dr Martin Freese practiced as a general practitioner for more than 30 years in Klerksdorp before joining Intercare. He has a particular interest in dermatology, infectious diseases, and surgery. Dr Freese enjoys playing tennis and golf and is also a keen runner.

He claims his success in medicine has come from working hard in the art of diagnostics and working closely with peers and colleagues. Dr Moschides's interests in family practice range from surgical procedures to dermatology, sports medicine, and chronic disorders. With a loyal following over three decades, he has naturally been interested in geriatrics. He has a passion for teaching and mentoring students and junior doctors.

Dr Eleni Bizos obtained the MBBCh degree from Wits University in 2017, graduating with distinction. In addition, she holds a Diploma in HIV Management, a healthcare issue that is very dear to her. Dr Bizos completed her internship at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital and community service at Joe Morolong Memorial Hospital in Vryburg. She is interested in surgery and passed her surgical primary exams while gaining significant experience as a surgical medical officer at Charlotte Maxeke Hospital. During this period, she was fortunate to work in the Trauma and ICU department, becoming proficient in minor surgical procedures and emergency care. Dr Bizos firmly believes in the importance of a continuum of care, support, and community awareness.

Dr Lebogang Setsiba graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 2017. She interned at Kalafong Provincial Hospital and completed community service at Tshwane Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr Setsiba is particularly interested in paediatrics and aesthetic medicine. She enjoys family medicine and aims to offer quality and compassionate care to all patients. In her free time, she loves reading and spending quality time with her family.

Dr Albert van Niekerk graduated with an MBChB from the University of Pretoria in 2006. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Medical Sciences and an Honours degree in Physiology. He gained extensive experience as a Medical Officer at Tshwane District Hospital and obtained a Diploma in Ophthalmology. In 2018, Dr van Niekerk moved to Bloemfontein to work in the Anatomical Pathology Department at Universitas Hospital. Apart from his medical career, he enjoys cycling.

Her diverse background has equipped her with a wide range of skills, further enhanced by her Diploma in Anaesthetics. Dr Wellington has a particular interest in women's health, as well as a passion for paediatric and geriatric medicine. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, as well as hiking and running.

Dr Gary Joubert

Dr Gary Joubert obtained his MBChB from the University of Pretoria in 1993 and holds a Diploma in Primary Emergency Care from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa. He has extensive experience in emergency and critical care medicine, with a focus on both adult and paediatric cases. His clinical interests include advanced airway management, wound and burn care, and the management of metabolic diseases such as diabetes and obesity. Dr Gary Joubert is also trained in aesthetic medicine, offering treatments including neurotoxins, microneedling, PRP, fillers, threads, and mesotherapy. He is certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) as an instructor, and holds provider certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through the American Heart Association. Additionally, he has completed training in diving and hyperbaric medicine.
